Long Road

I have had back pain on and off for a long time. In Feburary I stepped on some black ice on a trip to Tahoe. It really hurt but I could move and didn't think much about it. A few days later it seemed worse. A week later I had real bad deep pain so I went to ER with not much success other than a CT scan that showed a pinched disc I went to my GP and got a referral to Dr. Qureshi. I first meet Kelisy his PA and she ordered a MRI and went back the next day. To shorten the story I wanted to avoid surgury, but after 2 extream pain episodes and trips in an ambulance I was more than ready to anything. Dr Qureshi is wonderful person, understanding and empathic to the pain I was surfing and what a professional in being sure all alternatives and considerations were made before surgury,.. He was the first person I saw when I work up and he was there every step of the recovery. His PA Kelsey was the go to person and even when things were worse she was available and always able to reach Dr Qureshi. It goes without saying I trust and admire of both Kelsey and Dr Qureshi From the point of my left leg had little nerve reaction and was nearly unable to walk on to now I can walk at least 3 miles a day I have most of the feeling back I can go up and down hills without falling. I can sit for more than one hour, stand for at least 3 hours, no more pain meds or even Tylenol It truly is a merical.
