My Comeback Story: David F.

Knee replacement's a big deal but worth it
I enjoy outdoor activity, hiking, biking and kayaking but it was getting very difficult to do these things with an arthritic knee. I had a good recovery from the operation and was able to do limited normal activities, go to the grocery and such, within 2 weeks. My knee felt very stable but my leg was week. I put in a lot of work at the gym to rebuild strength, which went slowly at first, but over time, a year to a year and a half, I have gotten back to where I was a few years ago when I didn't have knee pain. It was a long process but I'm very glad I did it. The care I received during and after the operation was very good.
