We know what they’ll face: long wait times and increased expenses. Often, ER patients then still need to see an orthopedic specialist for follow-up care.

Benefits Of Our Orthopedic Urgent Care

No other medical specialty is so well suited to offering urgent care services as orthopedics. At standard urgent care centers, doctors who are not orthopedic specialists frequently deal with musculoskeletal injuries that have just occurred. These urgent care centers tend to refer to an orthopedic specialist, adding an extra visit for each patient. By choosing Orthopedic Express over standard urgent care clinics, patients will get the right care from the start.

WALK-IN CARE

We offer immediate care for orthopedic injuries.
No appointment is needed.

CASTING/SPLINTING

Immediate treatment with medical equipment.
No appointment is needed.

STITCHES

Offers care for wounds except facial lacerations.
No appointment is needed.

PAIN INJECTIONS

Same-day injections may be available, especially for those already on a pain management program.

MRI (Brentwood & Walnut Creek locations)

Some locations offer MRI services on site.

X-RAY

We offer X-Ray services on site.

Walk-In Care for Patients of All Ages

The providers at Orthopedic Express are orthopedic experts who can manage orthopedic injuries in seniors, adults, and children ages two and up. If a patient does require follow-up care, they will have immediate access to Golden State Ortho’s board-certified physicians. We are proud to offer seamless care from the initial diagnosis to the final stages of treatment from a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Although it is convenient to have walk-in care, we do not treat illnesses or diseases that are not related to the muscles, bones, joints and musculoskeletal system.
For example WE DO NOT TREAT:

  • COVID (Coronavirus)
  • Suspected or actual heart attack or stroke
  • Flu, colds, headaches and sore throats
  • Stomach pain and conditions
  • Bowel pain and conditions
  • Conditions of the heart and lungs
  • Brain disease
  • Teeth and jaw problems
