Natalie Jimenez, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in spine, neck, and back care at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine. She works closely with Dr. Chelsea Hendow, supporting patients through every stage of their care, from initial consultation through surgical recovery.

In her role, Natalie provides comprehensive preoperative, postoperative, and established patient care, and she also assists Dr. Hendow with hospital rounding and first-assists in the operating room as needed. Her clinical training includes an orthopedic trauma rotation at a Level II trauma center and a surgical rotation that exposed her to a range of specialties, including orthopedic surgery, podiatric surgery, and sports medicine, further strengthening her foundation in musculoskeletal care.

Natalie’s philosophy of patient care centers on individualized treatment and shared decision-making. She prioritizes spending meaningful time with her patients to ensure they feel heard, understood, and empowered. Natalie strongly believes that patient education is essential; when patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the reasoning behind clinical recommendations, they are better equipped to make informed decisions that align with their long-term goals.

Patients appreciate Natalie’s approachable, compassionate, and thoughtful demeanor. She is deeply mindful of the social determinants of health and how they can affect access to care and treatment outcomes. In alignment with the GSOS mission, Natalie strives to build trusting relationships and treat every patient as part of the GSOS family. Natalie is fluent in Spanish and is proud to provide care in Spanish for patients who prefer to communicate in their native language.

Natalie’s passion for medicine was shaped by her personal experiences growing up as the daughter of Mexican immigrants. From a young age, she often accompanied family members to medical appointments to help bridge language barriers. These experiences inspired her commitment to improving communication, health literacy, and access to care for Spanish-speaking patients.

In addition to her clinical training, Natalie is Certified in Public Health. She completed a public health field study in Tijuana, Mexico, at a free and low-cost clinic serving migrants and refugees. Her project, “Developing Health Education Resources to Facilitate Health Literacy and Access to Care at Refugee Health Alliance in Tijuana, Mexico,” focused on identifying key health concerns and creating culturally competent educational materials to support underserved populations.

Originally from Burbank, California, Natalie remains close to her family, including her younger twin siblings. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, going to the gym, cooking, exploring new breweries, and unwinding with reality television. She values maintaining a healthy work-life balance and prioritizes wellness, fitness, and time with loved ones.
