Lester Ma, PA-C

Lester Ma was born and raised in San Francisco and graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology. He also worked as an emergency medical technician in San Francisco prior to completing his Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Dominican University of California. Lester is a board-certified physician assistant working alongside Dr. Saqib Hasan, specializing in orthopedic and neurological spine surgery.

Lester believes in using the latest evidence-based medicine to fully support his patients, but also emphasizes the importance of patient education and patient-centered care in the hopes his patients can make the best possible decisions regarding their health care.

“Medicine is one of the few professions where a person truly devoted to learning and applying their knowledge can dramatically benefit people’s lives. I decided to involve myself in medicine for the purpose of providing meaningful change in the lives of others and hope to continue devoting myself to this cause for the rest of my life.”

Outside of work, Lester enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends.
