X-Ray

Advanced X-Ray Services
At Golden State Orthopedics & Spine, we use state-of-the-art X-ray technology to help our doctors quickly and accurately diagnose bone, joint, and soft-tissue conditions. X-rays are often the first step in evaluating injuries such as fractures, dislocations, and arthritis, providing clear images that guide personalized treatment and care.
When Is an X-Ray Needed?
Your doctor may order an X-ray to evaluate pain, swelling, or deformity following an injury or to monitor changes in a known condition. Common reasons for X-rays include:
- Arthritis or joint degeneration
- Bone alignment after injury or surgery
- Chronic pain in the spine, hips, knees, or shoulders
- Fractures or broken bones
- Joint dislocations
What to Expect During Your X-Ray
X-rays are quick, painless, and performed on-site at most Golden State Orthopedics & Spine locations. Our radiologic technologists will position the area being examined, ensuring your comfort while capturing high-quality images for your doctor’s review. Most X-rays take only a few minutes, and results are typically available the same day.
Safety & Accuracy
Golden State Orthopedics & Spine uses modern X-ray systems that minimize radiation exposure while producing superior image quality. Protective measures are used when necessary to ensure patient safety, and all studies are interpreted by experienced radiologists or orthopedic specialists.
