Dr. Sacco was very efficient and thorough. He went over my imaging with me and answered all the questions I had. He not even once made me feel rushed. Bader is a Great surgeon. After surgery on my shoulder I did not have to take any pain pills. And the scars are very tiny. Still going through physical therapy but I expect to get 90% range of motion and I'm at 50 now. I highly recommend him for shoulder surgery.

Approximately 4 months ago, I had my 1st Orthopedic appointment with Dr. Michael F. Sacco in lieu of my Carpal Tunnel. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very professional, friendly staff. I had never been to an Orthopedic Surgeon before, didn't know what to expect, I had "White Coat Syndrome", tense, full of anxiety. However, I found him to be Professional, Knowledgeable, Personable, Thorough. He was very friendly, and informative, direct, and I like/appreciate his candor. He explained his findings, diagnosis, options and treatment plan for positive resolution. Last but not least, to my surprise, he has a great sense of humor. He put my mind at ease. By the time my appointment was over, I felt like I had known him for a while, and I was anxiety free. I'm very glad that I was referred to him by my Orthopedic Doctor. I would not want to go to any Orthopedic Surgeon. I highly recommend this Orthopedic Surgeon/office.
I have had several post op appointments with Dr. Sacco since my Carpal Tunnel Surgery for my Right Hand Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The most recent was yesterday 11/27/2023. All I can add to this review is that I truly believe Dr. Sacco is the Best In The Business ~hands down.... He listens well, examines your injury thoroughly, treats you accordingly. Genuinely cares about his patients!! He and his staff are Always knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Last but not least, they are consistent.
I hate going to doctors appointments in general. However, I don't mind going to Dr. Sacco because I know he has my best interest at heart and he is Not just in it for the money. Obviously, I still highly recommend Dr. Sacco if you need an excellent Dr./Surgeon for your Hand/Wrist/ Elbow/Shoulder.

Dr Sacco is a great surgeon. He explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable with it. I had the surgery and I wasn’t in hardly any pain. This was my second surgery on my hand and this was by far the easiest recovery I had. I wish I could have see Sacco earlier.

I had a series of unfortunate events at your Walnut Creek establishment, starting with my initial call to them. First I was told I did not have to bring a disk of my x-rays because they will take care of that. Secondly, I was tied up in traffic, so called in and specifically requested that they let the PA know. They never did so therefore I had to sit around and wait for an hour and a half. Also the gal at the reception desk told me that they do not cooperate with Sutter in terms of getting x-rays, completely contradicting, what I was originally told. so then they put a cast on and it was very obvious from the beginning that I was swelling up and then PA just said to hold my hand up if you continue to swell. I swelled up and was in so much pain that I had to go back to emergency that night as soon as the doctor there saw it , he made him that cast was removed. I would never ever go to your Walnut Creek facility again.
On the other hand, your Concord facility had employees who were quite efficient. I was also very pleased with the hand surgeon, Dr. Sacco. I also have two other friends who are very upset by their treatment at your Walnut Creek facility.

I recently saw Dr Sacco for exquisite hand pain.
He patiently reviewed EC rays and palpated the distressed area.
After discounting anything serious he offered a cortisone shot to the area.
This took a few days to work, but now I am back to full function.

This is a state of the art practice relating to joint replacement. I’m always given top notch care here when I need it and ask for it. Dr. Crow is my doctor here. The man creates miracles. I needed repair surgery to an old sports injury on my left knee. The damage was so extensive, Dr. Crow wasn’t sure he could repair it, but he did. I wouldn’t be walking if it wasn’t for him. 5 stars to him, 4 stars to the practice in general. Practice has some flaws but easy enough to work around it. As with any practice, do your homework to find a doctor that works for you, not against you. There’s a difference.

Bradley Crow, MD was highly recommended to me. I had my first visit with the doctor the beginning of Jan. I had X-rays done on my right knee, & he advised that I needed a knee replacement . He was very thorough in answering my questions and made me feel relaxed with having the surgery. Due to my schedule I wanted to wait until April before having it done. He said that worked for his schedule as well. He gave me a shot in my knee to help with pain. The shot helped me greatly. I highly recommend Dr. Crow.

Dr. Crow is quite simply the best there is! I saw 3 orthopedic surgeons for replacement of both my hips. None of them would take my case because the skin, fascia & ligaments/tendons are hard & tight. I thought I was going to have to live with extremely painful & dysfunctional hip joints. Ultimately a surgeon sent me to a colleague of his - Bradley Crow, MD. Dr. Crow took up the challenge and today I'm pain free and loving it!! Dr. Crow is not just a talented and skilled surgeon, he's also a very nice guy. That counts for a lot these days. When I visited Dr Crow in regards of my situation of having pain, he was very informative by reviewing my imaging ( x-rays) and found that I needed a hip replacement, what was unique about him that he wanted me to point out my own imaging and tell me what do I see of my hip.
He's a very busy Doctor and knows what he's dose in this field of pain, my recovery was Swift and Quick.

Yes, if you are researching spinal surgery, yes, you have found the correct surgeon. Look, on any review site you will find a wide spectrum of reviews,positive, negative or indifferent. Often, in my experience, a terrific dr. Or service or whatever doesnt always get a fair shake because of the reviewers present state of mind, current issues, etc.
So, I'll I can give you is my experience. 5 stars up and down. 4 weeks removed from L4-L5-S1 spinal fusion surgery and I'm already feeling considerably less pain than before surgery. I had a rough first week, always absolute worst from all I read, but smooth sailing thereafter. Look, we have to have realistic expectations. If my back didn't improve anymore from today I'd still be extremely happy.
Dr Nelles has been extremely professional from day one. Goes through x-rays and MRI's in front of me and gives me as much time as I need to ask questions and talk about concerns. I've seen a few other orthopedic surgeons so I have some personal experience and head and shoulders above the rest.
Lastly, I have a couple other issues happening so I have seen two other orthopedic surgeons at Muir and both rave about dr Nelles's capabilities and professionalism. That is about the best compliment one can get is from their peers. And I know the difference of a college throwing out lip service about another dr. I asked specifics and was give very specific answers.
Feel free to message me here if you need verification or even want to talk about my experience or anything. This is a huge commitment and life changing one way or the other so I feel it's well worth the time from me or you.

I tore a ligament while pruning a tree. My primary Dr. referred me to Dr. Sacco. The staff at the front desk were very nice and professional. The wait was very short. Dr. Sacco explained exactly what was going on with my ligament tear and described what the process of the repair surgery. He was very caring and listened to my concerns. Dr. Sacco was also very accommodating with scheduling my surgery before an overseas trip I already planned. He made sure I knew what precautions to take during my travels so I do not have any setback with the recovery of the repaired ligament. The week before my trip when I had the stitches removed, Dr. Sacco also to took care of a painful “trigger finger” that has been bothering me for a long time.
When I returned from my trip, he had me come in for a follow up (twice 4 weeks apart) to check on me and scheduled another follow up in another month. He offered physical therapy if I wanted to but I declined and told him I have been exercising and stretching it. My trigger finger has not returned and my ligament is getting stronger each day. A big high 5 to Dr. Nelles, my spine specialist! He saved me from a collapsing spine. I just spent the last 2 months recovering from lumbar fusion also 4 screws and rods to support my L3 and L4. I have been to Muir Ortho a few times pre-op and now post-op in both WC and Concord office. I am so pleased with my outcome from my spine Surgeon Dr. Nelles. Outstanding work done and so happy with the out come of the surgery and my recovery. The office and hospital had a wonderful, professional caring staff!
I am now able to move little by little each day without pain. So so happyand thankful to a hard working staff that gave my life new meaning. Before the surgery my back hurt all the time unless I was laying down. Now I'm able to stand and walk but when I feel the healing pain it reminds me to take it slow because I'm not quite healed and rest is still needed but I'll get there soon enough!! I injured my back wake boarding. X-rays taken at urgent care were inconclusive so I tried to muscle through for a few weeks in hopes it would heal on it's own. It didn't and my pain was excruciating. Then I saw Dr David Nelles at Muir Orthopedic Specialists in Concord. He reviewed my x-rays, asked me a multitude of questions, did an examine and performed a few physical tests. He then recommended an MRI and scheduled me for soonest available. During my follow-up visit with Dr Nelles, he shared my MRI results in detail and confirmed I had a herniated disk. I expected him to recommend surgery, since that's what Orthopedic Neurologists get paid to do. Instead he recommended a cortisone epidural and again scheduled me for first available. The day following the procedure was the first day in two months that I felt little to no pain and it's been that way ever since. He showed genuine concern, nailed my diagnosis and I'm especially pleased he did not recommend surgery. I think I've written only 3 reviews in my life, but Dr Nelles deserves this one.

My original orthopedic doctor had me get a second set of eyes on the pain I was having. It's been close to two years in pain. I had both my hips replaced. concerned that I'm having a different doctor. I've known my ortho doctor for three years. Doctor Bradley Crow took real good care of me. Ruled out anything else that he believed may be causing my pain. When it came time for my surgery, his staff covered everything. I was still uneasy. Surgery isn't a easy thing to go through. Two days after I was home. I knew my pain was gone. Not just a thought that it may be gone. It's gone. I can't thank Dr. Crow enough. Now I can go hiking and biking again without the pain. Thank you.

Dr. Crow performed full knee replacement on myself, the knee is full healed and 100% better, able to kneel and walk hills with no problems. Main thing you need to do is full theraphy to fully get the results you want and need. This took full year to get to where iam at now. No pain,stiffness very flexible. Thanks Tom

I have had 5 positive experiences with East Bay Sports Medicine involving 2 doctors there, Dr. Semon Bader and Dr. Michael Oberlander. The knee surgery my husband had was so smooth that I bit the bullet and had mine repaired. Then the other.... The staff is great. The office is clean and positive.... Dr Oberlander did those three surgeries and I could not have hoped for results like these (both my knees had been operated on 45 years earlier so he had quite a few issues to deal with). No babying, no coddling he put me back together better than I had been in 2 decades and I was back in the game.
Fast forward 7 years and I tear not one but both shoulders up. Shoulder surgery is the pits. Uncomfortable and inconvenient. Dr. Bader is not only a skilled surgeon but takes the time to explain what to expect, and let me know what and when things should happen post op to recover.
I followed his instructions and we are both impressed at the results. Would I recommend him? You bet I would.

I ended up with a torn lower bicep tendon. I saw a few different Doctors in the area and ended up on deciding on Dr. Sacco who was originally the first Doctor I saw. He was upfront on honest that I needed surgery to repair my tendon which, he highly recommended. I was nervous about the surgery as I have never been under the knife before. He did a great job with the repair and confirmed that my tendon was 100% torn. He made two small incisions on my arm to repair the tendon. I am healing great after the surgery, it has only been a month and I can barely see where the incisions are. I still have about two months of healing time before I go back to work. I am very glad he insisted on surgery, and very glad that Dr. Sacco was my surgeon. He is very knowledgeable about his field and I can tell he loves his job. I highly recommend Dr. Sacco and his staff.

Due to a recent, ongoing knee injury I needed an MRI and because of scheduling challenges, I arranged an appointment at East Bay Sports Medicine.
I arrived right @ noon for my 12pm appointment. (I was driving in from the Vacaville area, approximately a 40 min drive, traffic was light.) Shortly after checking in and as I just sat down to start filling out the preliminary questionnaire, the MRI Technician called my name and escorted me to the back office.

Within ten minutes I was prep'd and being placed inside the "Tube of Extreme Magnetism," with the pleasant sounds of "clicks, whirs and knocks" to help relax me as I attempted to lay completely still. (According to the tech, the magnetic field generated by the MRI is strong enough to lift a Chevy Suburban... 'For a second, I thought I felt my dental fillings vibrating.)
'And after about 30 minutes, we were done.

I had a botched orthoscopic knee surgery 11 years ago and have gone from 30 percent bone on bone immediately after that surgery to 100 percent bone on bone several years later. I've lived in pain; yearly interviewed potential orthopedic surgeons; and was positively phobic about having another botched surgery by a doc who was indifferent. A doc who thinks the surgery went swimmingly while the patient is never pain free again. A doc who's just punching the clock.
Then I went to the amazing Dr. Bradley Crow. There is no other way to describe the excellent work he does. Other doctors recommend him. HE loves doing complicated surgeries that let him use all of his excellent, as well as intuitive, surgical skills. He described my surgery like he had just gone on some fabulous, challenging bike ride. He was excited and wonderful humane when we talked post surgery. I am pain free.
Other surgeons are probably good. Dr. Crow is the bomb.

Another update for East Bay Sports Medicine and Dr. Crow. Just went for my new knee's 1 year birthday check up and it's doing great! As always, better not get too comfortable in the waiting room, because you won't be waiting for long. Have never experienced a longer wait time than maybe 10 minutes! From my first visit to Dr. Crow in April 2013 to surgery in June, 2013, all the follow-up care, and now, a year later, every encounter with Dr. Crow, Emily Crow & the EBSM staff has been consistently outstanding. I am so appreciative to be able to walk without pain, to wear heels, to dance, to no longer have to arrange my life around debilitating knee pain. And the coolest thing ever . . . Dr. Crow and Emily Crow are Labrador Retriever parents. Now THAT explains everything :-)

After I fell and shattered my wrist, Dr. Sacco performed surgery on my wrist and put in a pin. Happily, my wrist is 100% back to normal. Dr. Oberlander performed arthroscopic surgery on both my knees on two different occasions, and my knees feel great with no pain. My husband has seen Dr. Merson, and he is a thorough and caring doctor who has helped cure him of various hip problems.

Dr. Michael Sacco worked on my left hand which was experiencing classic carpal tunnel issues. He is a technical expert, and the surgery went down without a hitch. In fact, I was able to start typing again within a few days (albeit sort of tough to do that with a wrist brace). I was able to go back to work only 10 days after the surgery. The 24/7 tingling/numbness I had in my left thumb, left index finger and palm are completely gone. Only thing left now is a tiny scar which he cleverly placed right along the natural line of my palm. He's my superhero on this one!

I saw Dr. Oberlander for shoulder injury a few months ago. He was absolutely wonderful and knowledgable. After a few quick and almost painless tests, Dr. Oberlander found out the cause of the pain and set home with instructions on how to help it heal and even on how to help strengthen my shoulder to avoid future problems. Overall, it was an excellent experience with a friendly staff and I have not had any problems with my shoulder since then. :)

I had a wonderful experience when visiting Dr. Sacco for tendinitis in my right wrist/thumb as a result from working with my newborn baby. Not only was the facility nice (although parking was a pain) the staff and doctor were amazing. It was great to be talked to rather than talked AT. After diagnosing my problem I received a shot of cortisone and a thumb stabilizer, which will hopefully help with my pain. Having visited a different orthopedic doctor for a similar problem in my left wrist, Dr. Sacco was much more knowledgable, kinder, and a better listener than my previous doctor. I will definitely be going back if I experience any more problems.

Dr. Oberlander is wonderful. He did surgery on both my knees. I am pain free and had very little down time. The office staff was nice and very helpful. They were great dealing with my insurance and getting all the authorizations. They told me up front what my financial responsibility would be ....so, no surprises. I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Merson for my calf pain and Dr. Sacco for my tendinitis, I have also brought my children in for various broken bones and I have to say that my whole experience was GREAT!!! Starting from the great customer service when scheduling my appointments over the phone and in person, the office atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and my experience with both Dr's were great! I would definitely come back and refer anyone needing a great Ortho Surgeon!

Best ortho office in East Bay!
I crashed my bike and broke my hand. Dr Sacco fixed my hand and got me back out riding in no time. He is extremely knowledgable in complex hand injuries like mine and the results have been great. You would never know I had a bad injury. He understood I wanted to remain active, so even changed out my cast frequently so it wouldn't smell to high heaven from the sweat.
I couldn't have recieved better care anywhere. I would highly recommend this ortho office above all others. Very personal and compassionate care.

I injured myself while on vacation. Upon calling, Dr. Crow worked me into his schedule to ensure I be seen immediately. I was amazed at the detail and the extent of time he spent with me going over treatment options. The staff was very nice and called my insurance company ahead of time to get my copay information and to make sure my services would be covered. I really appreciated this because in the past after to going to other medical offices, treatment was rendered and then I received a huge bill because they said that authorization was never received. I would recommend East Bay Sports Medicine to anyone who has orthopedic issues.

I had a wonderful experience with this facility. They got me in for a 7:00 AM MRI so I would not have to miss work. Then the doctors schedule was completely booked but after mentioning I was in a lot of pain the receptionist went and asked him if he would work me. He agreed to do so. I saw Dr. Sacco. He was very knowledgeable. Staff was really top notch too. They got all my insurance approvals for PT, MRI, Injections right away. I am pain free and able to return to all my normal activities.

Dr. Sacco was very efficient and thorough. He went over my imaging with me and answered all the questions I had. He not even once made me feel rushed. I struggle with self advocacy and anxiety when I see the dr normally but He was very kind and patient with me so I felt at ease telling him what was going on. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Bader is a Great surgeon. After surgery on my shoulder I did not have to take any pain pills. And the scars are very tiny. Still going through physical therapy but I expect to get 90% range of motion and I'm at 50 now. I highly recommend him for shoulder surgery.

I had a series of unfortunate events at your Walnut Creek establishment, starting with my initial call to them. First I was told I did not have to bring a disk of my x-rays because they will take care of that. Secondly, I was tied up in traffic, so called in and specifically requested that they let the PA know. They never did so therefore I had to sit around and wait for an hour and a half. Also the gal at the reception desk told me that they do not cooperate with Sutter in terms of getting x-rays, completely contradicting, what I was originally told. so then they put a cast on and it was very obvious from the beginning that I was swelling up and then PA just said to hold my hand up if you continue to swell. I swelled up and was in so much pain that I had to go back to emergency that night as soon as the doctor there saw it , he made him that cast was removed. I would never ever go to your Walnut Creek facility again. On the other hand, your Concord facility had employees who were quite efficient. I was also very pleased with the hand surgeon, Dr. Sacco. I also have two other friends who are very upset by their treatment at your Walnut Creek facility.
Doc appears to have a cold bedside manner, but at the end of your visit he creates a smile.

I recently saw Dr Sacco for exquisite hand pain. He patiently reviewed EC rays and palpated the distressed area. After discounting anything serious he offered a cortisone shot to the area. This took a few days to work, but now I am back to full function. My husband has also seen Dr Sacco go treatment of trigger finger. A thorough kind Dr.

I have had both of my hips replaced by Dr. Toma. I went to him because of his reputation as a highly skilled surgeon in our area. I found him to also be kind, attentive and patient. He has been easy to talk to and I truly enjoy his care and skill.
This is a state of the art practice relating to joint replacement. I’m always given top notch care here when I need it and ask for it. Dr. Crow is my doctor here. The man creates miracles. I needed repair surgery to an old sports injury on my left knee. The damage was so extensive, Dr. Crow wasn’t sure he could repair it, but he did. I wouldn’t be walking if it wasn’t for him. 5 stars to him, 4 stars to the practice in general. Practice has some flaws but easy enough to work around it. As with any practice, do your homework to find a doctor that works for you, not against you. There’s a difference.
Dr. Bradley Crow has been a wonderful orthopedic doctor. He would always take the time to go over procedure need completely through ever step of the way. Though both my right knee total replacement and the same with my left hip replacement surgery. I will miss him and the care he shown me very much. 😒

Bradley Crow, MD was highly recommended to me. I had my first visit with the doctor the beginning of Jan. I had X-rays done on my right knee, & he advised that I needed a knee replacement . He was very thorough in answering my questions and made me feel relaxed with having the surgery. Due to my schedule I wanted to wait until April before having it done. He said that worked for his schedule as well. He gave me a shot in my knee to help with pain. The shot helped me greatly. I highly recommend Dr. Crow.

Dr. Crow is quite simply the best there is! I saw 3 orthopedic surgeons for replacement of both my hips. None of them would take my case because the skin, fascia & ligaments/tendons are hard & tight. I thought I was going to have to live with extremely painful & dysfunctional hip joints. Ultimately a surgeon sent me to a colleague of his - Bradley Crow, MD. Dr. Crow took up the challenge and today I'm pain free and loving it!! Dr. Crow is not just a talented and skilled surgeon, he's also a very nice guy. That counts for a lot these days. The office doesn't always run smoothly or conveniently, but the people there are nice and having Dr. Crow for my surgeon makes up for any short comings. Thank you Dr. Crow and staff! LM

When I visited Dr Crow in regards of my situation of having pain, he was very informative by reviewing my imaging ( x-rays) and found that I needed a hip replacement, what was unique about him that he wanted me to point out my own imaging and tell me what do I see of my hip. He's a very busy Doctor and knows what he's dose in this field of pain, my recovery was Swift and Quick. Bless him in all that he does.

Yes, if you are researching spinal surgery, yes, you have found the correct surgeon. Look, on any review site you will find a wide spectrum of reviews,positive, negative or indifferent. Often, in my experience, a terrific dr. Or service or whatever doesnt always get a fair shake because of the reviewers present state of mind, current issues, etc. So, I'll I can give you is my experience. 5 stars up and down. 4 weeks removed from L4-L5-S1 spinal fusion surgery and I'm already feeling considerably less pain than before surgery. I had a rough first week, always absolute worst from all I read, but smooth sailing thereafter. Look, we have to have realistic expectations. If my back didn't improve anymore from today I'd still be extremely happy. Dr Nelles has been extremely professional from day one. Goes through x-rays and MRI's in front of me and gives me as much time as I need to ask questions and talk about concerns. I've seen a few other orthopedic surgeons so I have some personal experience and head and shoulders above the rest. Lastly, I have a couple other issues happening so I have seen two other orthopedic surgeons at Muir and both rave about dr Nelles's capabilities and professionalism. That is about the best compliment one can get is from their peers. And I know the difference of a college throwing out lip service about another dr. I asked specifics and was give very specific answers. Feel free to message me here if you need verification or even want to talk about my experience or anything. I tore a ligament while pruning a tree. My primary Dr. referred me to Dr. Sacco. The staff at the front desk were very nice and professional. The wait was very short. Dr. Sacco explained exactly what was going on with my ligament tear and described what the process of the repair surgery. He was very caring and listened to my concerns. Dr. Sacco was also very accommodating with scheduling my surgery before an overseas trip I already planned. He made sure I knew what precautions to take during my travels so I do not have any setback with the recovery of the repaired ligament. The week before my trip when I had the stitches removed, Dr. Sacco also to took care of a painful “trigger finger” that has been bothering me for a long time. When I returned from my trip, he had me come in for a follow up (twice 4 weeks apart) to check on me and scheduled another follow up in another month. He offered physical therapy if I wanted to but I declined and told him I have been exercising and stretching it. My trigger finger has not returned and my ligament is getting stronger each day. A big high 5 to Dr. Nelles, my spine specialist! He saved me from a collapsing spine. I just spent the last 2 months recovering from lumbar fusion also 4 screws and rods to support my L3 and L4. I have been to Muir Ortho a few times pre-op and now post-op in both WC and Concord office. I am so pleased with my outcome from my spine Surgeon Dr. Nelles. Outstanding work done and so happy with the out come of the surgery and my recovery. The office and hospital had a wonderful, professional caring staff! I am now able to move little by little each day without pain. So so happyand thankful to a hard working staff that gave my life new meaning. Before the surgery my back hurt all the time unless I was laying down. Now I'm able to stand and walk but when I feel the healing pain it reminds me to take it slow because I'm not quite healed and rest is still needed but I'll get there soon enough!! I injured my back wake boarding. X-rays taken at urgent care were inconclusive so I tried to muscle through for a few weeks in hopes it would heal on it's own. It didn't and my pain was excruciating. Then I saw Dr David Nelles at Muir Orthopedic Specialists in Concord. He reviewed my x-rays, asked me a multitude of questions, did an examine and performed a few physical tests. He then recommended an MRI and scheduled me for soonest available. During my follow-up visit with Dr Nelles, he shared my MRI results in detail and confirmed I had a herniated disk. I expected him to recommend surgery, since that's what Orthopedic Neurologists get paid to do. Instead he recommended a cortisone epidural and again scheduled me for first available. The day following the procedure was the first day in two months that I felt little to no pain and it's been that way ever since. He showed genuine concern, nailed my diagnosis and I'm especially pleased he did not recommend surgery. I think I've written only 3 reviews in my life, but Dr Nelles deserves this one.
My original orthopedic doctor had me get a second set of eyes on the pain I was having. It's been close to two years in pain. I had both my hips replaced. concerned that I'm having a different doctor. I've known my ortho doctor for three years. Doctor Bradley Crow took real good care of me. Ruled out anything else that he believed may be causing my pain. When it came time for my surgery, his staff covered everything. I was still uneasy. Surgery isn't a easy thing to go through. Two days after I was home. I knew my pain was gone. Not just a thought that it may be gone. It's gone. I can't thank Dr. Crow enough. Now I can go hiking and biking again without the pain. Thank you.

Dr Crow takes time to listen, he reads extensively about the last trends and achievements in his field of expertise, so you may be assured , he will chose the best approach available in the world for your specific case. It may be hard to get to him , and the phone system is undergoing an upgrade. But if you get him, you are in good hands! I wish, I could give him more stars.
Dr Bradley Crow is a real pro. He is open to new ideas, very knowledgeable, and he wants to help. He will only do what is best for his patient. Dr. Crow performed full knee replacement on myself, the knee is full healed and 100% better, able to kneel and walk hills with no problems. Main thing you need to do is full theraphy to fully get the results you want and need. This took full year to get to where iam at now. No pain,stiffness very flexible. Thanks Tom
I have had 5 positive experiences with East Bay Sports Medicine involving 2 doctors there, Dr. Semon Bader and Dr. Michael Oberlander. The knee surgery my husband had was so smooth that I bit the bullet and had mine repaired. Then the other.... The staff is great. The office is clean and positive.... Dr Oberlander did those three surgeries and I could not have hoped for results like these (both my knees had been operated on 45 years earlier so he had quite a few issues to deal with). No babying, no coddling he put me back together better than I had been in 2 decades and I was back in the game. Fast forward 7 years and I tear not one but both shoulders up. Shoulder surgery is the pits. Uncomfortable and inconvenient. Dr. Bader is not only a skilled surgeon but takes the time to explain what to expect, and let me know what and when things should happen post op to recover. I followed his instructions and we are both impressed at the results. Would I recommend him? You bet I would.
I ended up with a torn lower bicep tendon. I saw a few different Doctors in the area and ended up on deciding on Dr. Sacco who was originally the first Doctor I saw. He was upfront on honest that I needed surgery to repair my tendon which, he highly recommended. I was nervous about the surgery as I have never been under the knife before. He did a great job with the repair and confirmed that my tendon was 100% torn. He made two small incisions on my arm to repair the tendon. I am healing great after the surgery, it has only been a month and I can barely see where the incisions are. I still have about two months of healing time before I go back to work. I am very glad he insisted on surgery, and very glad that Dr. Sacco was my surgeon. He is very knowledgeable about his field and I can tell he loves his job. I highly recommend Dr. Sacco and his staff.
Due to a recent, ongoing knee injury I needed an MRI and because of scheduling challenges, I arranged an appointment at East Bay Sports Medicine. I arrived right @ noon for my 12pm appointment. (I was driving in from the Vacaville area, approximately a 40 min drive, traffic was light.) Shortly after checking in and as I just sat down to start filling out the preliminary questionnaire, the MRI Technician called my name and escorted me to the back office. I had a botched orthoscopic knee surgery 11 years ago and have gone from 30 percent bone on bone immediately after that surgery to 100 percent bone on bone several years later. I've lived in pain; yearly interviewed potential orthopedic surgeons; and was positively phobic about having another botched surgery by a doc who was indifferent. A doc who thinks the surgery went swimmingly while the patient is never pain free again. A doc who's just punching the clock. Then I went to the amazing Dr. Bradley Crow. There is no other way to describe the excellent work he does. Other doctors recommend him. HE loves doing complicated surgeries that let him use all of his excellent, as well as intuitive, surgical skills. He described my surgery like he had just gone on some fabulous, challenging bike ride. He was excited and wonderful humane when we talked post surgery. I am pain free. Other surgeons are probably good. Dr. Crow is the bomb.
Another update for East Bay Sports Medicine and Dr. Crow. Just went for my new knee's 1 year birthday check up and it's doing great! As always, better not get too comfortable in the waiting room, because you won't be waiting for long. Have never experienced a longer wait time than maybe 10 minutes! From my first visit to Dr. Crow in April 2013 to surgery in June, 2013, all the follow-up care, and now, a year later, every encounter with Dr. Crow, Emily Crow & the EBSM staff has been consistently outstanding. I am so appreciative to be able to walk without pain, to wear heels, to dance, to no longer have to arrange my life around debilitating knee pain. And the coolest thing ever . . . Dr. Crow and Emily Crow are Labrador Retriever parents. Now THAT explains everything :-)
A Radiologist (MRI) said I need surgery for a tear in my shoulder. Dr Sacco read the MRI and said no surgery, He sent me to physical therapy and in one month I'm back to 85% to normal. I'm so glad I went Dr Sacco

After I fell and shattered my wrist, Dr. Sacco performed surgery on my wrist and put in a pin. Happily, my wrist is 100% back to normal. Dr. Oberlander performed arthroscopic surgery on both my knees on two different occasions, and my knees feel great with no pain. Dr.Bader was fantastic! My husband had extensive knee damage from a softball injury and Dr. Bader was very informative throughout the whole process. The day of surgery he spoke with me in detail prior and after the surgery explaining everything that was done. We are very greateful to him!
Dr. Michael Sacco worked on my left hand which was experiencing classic carpal tunnel issues. He is a technical expert, and the surgery went down without a hitch. In fact, I was able to start typing again within a few days (albeit sort of tough to do that with a wrist brace). I was able to go back to work only 10 days after the surgery. The 24/7 tingling/numbness I had in my left thumb, left index finger and palm are completely gone. Only thing left now is a tiny scar which he cleverly placed right along the natural line of my palm. He's my superhero on this one!
I saw Dr. Oberlander for shoulder injury a few months ago. He was absolutely wonderful and knowledgable. After a few quick and almost painless tests, Dr. Oberlander found out the cause of the pain and set home with instructions on how to help it heal and even on how to help strengthen my shoulder to avoid future problems. Overall, it was an excellent experience with a friendly staff and I have not had any problems with my shoulder since then. :)
I had a wonderful experience when visiting Dr. Sacco for tendinitis in my right wrist/thumb as a result from working with my newborn baby. Not only was the facility nice (although parking was a pain) the staff and doctor were amazing. It was great to be talked to rather than talked AT. After diagnosing my problem I received a shot of cortisone and a thumb stabilizer, which will hopefully help with my pain. Having visited a different orthopedic doctor for a similar problem in my left wrist, Dr. Sacco was much more knowledgable, kinder, and a better listener than my previous doctor. I will definitely be going back if I experience any more problems.
Dr. Oberlander is wonderful. He did surgery on both my knees. I am pain free and had very little down time. The office staff was nice and very helpful. They were great dealing with my insurance and getting all the authorizations. They told me up front what my financial responsibility would be ....so, no surprises. I would highly recommend this group.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Merson for my calf pain and Dr. Sacco for my tendinitis, I have also brought my children in for various broken bones and I have to say that my whole experience was GREAT!!! Starting from the great customer service when scheduling my appointments over the phone and in person, the office atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and my experience with both Dr's were great! I would definitely come back and refer anyone needing a great Ortho Surgeon!
Best ortho office in East Bay! I crashed my bike and broke my hand. Dr Sacco fixed my hand and got me back out riding in no time. He is extremely knowledgable in complex hand injuries like mine and the results have been great. You would never know I had a bad injury. He understood I wanted to remain active, so even changed out my cast frequently so it wouldn't smell to high heaven from the sweat. I couldn't have recieved better care anywhere. I would highly recommend this ortho office above all others. Very personal and compassionate care.
I injured myself while on vacation. Upon calling, Dr. Crow worked me into his schedule to ensure I be seen immediately. I was amazed at the detail and the extent of time he spent with me going over treatment options. The staff was very nice and called my insurance company ahead of time to get my copay information and to make sure my services would be covered. I really appreciated this because in the past after to going to other medical offices, treatment was rendered and then I received a huge bill because they said that authorization was never received. I would recommend East Bay Sports Medicine to anyone who has orthopedic issues.
I had a wonderful experience with this facility. They got me in for a 7:00 AM MRI so I would not have to miss work. Then the doctors schedule was completely booked but after mentioning I was in a lot of pain the receptionist went and asked him if he would work me. He agreed to do so. I saw Dr. Sacco. He was very knowledgeable. Staff was really top notch too. They got all my insurance approvals for PT, MRI, Injections right away. I am pain free and able to return to all my normal activities.
