Had a complete knee replacement. Dr. Wiseman is a fantastic surgeon and I would recommend him with no reservations. I was playing 18 holes of golf 5 weeks after my surgery date.

My left shoulder was in terrible shape due to a botched joint replacement job from years ago by a different physician. Last July, Dr. Craig Wiseman performed the first of three surgeries that, very literally, saved my life. I met him in the Emergency Room in July 2022 with an acute infection and sepsis. When I say he “saved my life,” I was on the brink of total disaster, and he saved me. I have experience dealing with many, many doctors over recent years, for one thing or another. As a patient, I have come to know Dr. Wiseman and found him to be always caring, always kind and sensitive, a good and very clear communicator, and the consummate professional. As a hospital patient he showed up practically every day to check on me. As an office patient, although I typically I have to wait, his feedback, instructions, and encouragement are all worth the wait. On a scale of 1-10, Dr. Wiseman is a solid 10. I recommend him highly. Love Dr. Wiseman. He tries for the least invasive first but not afraid to tell you when a partial just won’t work. Several weeks after my total knee replacement and already have less pain and the knee is STABLE.

I had surgery almost seven weeks. After going back and forth with other surgeons and having this be my second surgery, Dr. Wiseman took the time and energy to evaluate different routes to help my problem. Not only did he take the time to address the issue adequately, but he was able to get me in and do the surgery without any problems. It’s a long way to recovery, but so far, I feel better as time progresses. Dr. Wiseman takes the time to listen and go over any questions or concerns that (we) as patients have. I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking of or looking to have some knee surgery.

Dr Wiseman has been my Orthopedic Specialist for 10 years. The treatment and care provided by Dr. Wiseman and staff before and after surgery was exceptional. The 10 years after my first surgery, his advice and care prolonged the life of my original knee and allowed me to continue with all my usual activities. Now 10 years later we prepare for replacement. I would recommend Dr. Wiseman to anyone seeking a highly qualified orthopedic specialist.

Great experience with Craig M. Wiseman, MD as my orthopedic surgen. The surgery went as planned which is what you want. Golden State Orthopedics & Spine staff are nice. Though an area of improvement that I’d recommend is to implement a system where patients can send questions to their doctors. I needed to call repeatedly when I had post-op questions and in some cases repeat my question to multiple people. It would have been great if I could email in my question and get a response from the doctor or his staff. Dr Wiseman is A+ and I’d recommend him. I would recommend the Brentwood location.
