REVIEWS

About Dr Toma

Reviews mean so much!

Reviews mean so much to both the doctor providing care as well as to prospective patients. We appreciate your reviews!

After I had seen four orthopedist, I was somewhat discouraged. The one touted the most, did not keep my appointment with me in person after I had waited several weeks for it. He sent his assistant to speak with me. This assistant thought I had knee surgery and said he had seen the x-ray. The x-ray was of my hip. He pointed inches below my knee and said again I have seen your x-ray! My knee is not involved!

I saw another orthopedist who stated that he knows every orthopedic surgery & how to do them. He spoke with me and told me “I had seen the hip replacement with pins that you had as a child.” He told me that he only does one procedure on fat older women and that is all he does. He then mentioned that I am not either of those. He gave me the name of another orthopedist.

I saw the next one who also was not familiar with the surgery that I needed. After seeing all four of these I was discouraged. My primary said there was one more & referred me to him, his name was Dr. Toma. I read his bio and it was very encouraging! He had even received an award for his knowledge & success! “The Miranda Award.”

I now had an appointment with him! I told Dr. Toma when I met him that I knew he was a very special orthopedist!! He smiled. I said I know that you are the very best!

He understood my first surgery as a child when the doctor had only used pins in the hip socket. He told me that he had indeed seen that before. He told me that he could do the surgery that I indeed needed!

He explained the new surgery that he does now and it is way, way better. It sounded wonderful to me and now I was ready for the new surgery on my hip! 🙂

The surgery went perfect and I am 100% thrilled with my new hip! He is an excellent listener and is not in a hurry when he is listening to you.

His assistants both in the office & assisting him at the hospital are all excellent with knowing exactly what to do when assisting him. They are thoughtful as well as respectful.

Sincerely
M.B.
