Whether it’s an injured high school athlete, a weekend warrior with tennis elbow, or an elderly patient with arthritis, Dr. Schilling’s focus is on helping patients achieve their functional goals.
His philosophy of care revolves around helping each patient regain function in a safe, timely manner. In most cases, a non-operative course of treatment will suffice. However, an operative approach may lead to a quicker and better resolution of the problem. After a comprehensive evaluation, Dr. Schilling will work with you to make the appropriate decision for your specific situation.
Direct involvement of both the patient and involved family members in deciding the course of treatment is of paramount importance. He welcomes all patient questions, concerns, and expectations for recovery.
Dr. Schilling is dedicated and focused to his practice and continued education. He has completed research on topics including clavicle fixation methods and prolotherapy treatment for tendinopathy.
Dr. Schilling was born and raised in Walnut Creek and is delighted to be back in the San Francisco Bay Area.
