My name is Wanette Oxley I went to see Dr. Quershi in extreme pain from compressed nerves in my lumbar spine. My legs were numb and the pain so bad it was raising my blood pressure. Pain killers did not ease my symptoms. He knew right away I needed surgery so he put things into motion to get me into the hospital. I think I was in surgery for 6 plus hours. His PA Kelsey was amazing. Her compassion and bedside professionalism impressed me! Highly recommend them!

I went to see Dr.Qureshi for a surgical consult for my lumbar spine . I had several issues with it. Dr. Qureshi made sure I understood my options and was very meticulous with his explanations. Comprehensive service to patients is needed. Unsure there us a system in place to evaluate a patient’s progress as time goes by and symptoms change. Doctors need to communicate with each other and with patient.

He is a very kind doctor. I had back surgery a few years ago by another doctor That doctor retired. I went back to another doctor and he said I was lucky I had the mobility that I have, and just dropped it I was very frustrated because he was so short with me My back kept hurting so I had a MRI and went to Dr Qureshi , he explained why my back was still hurting and gave me options for different things that I can do to help it without having another back surgery. He Also gave me a referral for a Pain Management doctor that doesn’t just give you medication‘s. They work with you to break up the scar tissue around your surgery. He’s the first Dr that took the time to explain to me. What happened why it happened and what I can do moving forward.

Thanks to Dr. Qureshi I live a life free of pain and pain pills. For several years I was awaken in the middle of the night with pain shooting down both my left and right legs. Throughout each day, the pain in my lower back was excruciating causing me to miss out on activities with my family. Finally I decided I had enough. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Qureshi. My wife and I were presented with diagrams, pictures, graphs and charts during our initial visit which helped us to understand the recommended procedure. We also received information regarding what to expect post surgery. To our delight a few weeks after surgery I was out for short walks. Now ten months post surgery, I have reclaimed my life and once again enjoy activities with my family, just as Dr. Qureshi said I would. I highly recommend Dr. Qureshi as a spinal surgeon.

He is an excellent surgeon. He made sure that the diagnosis was accurate by completing the necessary tests (x-ray & MRI) and consulting anoher specialist (ENT). This ensured that the appropriate procedure was implemented to correct the problem. He removed bone spurs on the cervical spine (C2, C3, C4, & C5) which caused severe swallowing problems. The pre-op, surgery and post-op went smoothly because of the care and expertise of everyone, the doctor and his team.

So far so good; Dr Qureshi kept me thoroughly and very well-informed and explained everything for my elective procedure.

Dr. Qureshi performed on my spine lumber section L3-S1 fusion surgery in April 2017 in the John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA. It was a long surgery, followed by one-week stay in the hospital and a few months long recovery phase at home. Both in pre- and post-surgery phase Dr. Qureshi proved to be not only a highly qualified professional but a great communicator capable to explain in simple terms and expressions what problems and issues we may face and what solutions we may have to select in the near future. He has continued seeing me every year since the surgery analyzing current images of my spine lumber section, discussing the possible options I may have in my behavioral changes and recommended additional physical therapy when needed. Thanks to Dr. Qureshi and his guidance I am capable, to large extent, to live the life style (round-the-world travel for a few months every year) my wife and I envisioned for our retirement. Dr. Qureshi is an incredible surgeon. After a fall at work, caused injury to my neck and nerve testing/MRI indicated that surgery was necessary, I was referred to Dr Qureshi. His only goal for my laminoplasty surgery was to get my spinal cord out of danger. Immediately, when I woke from surgery the 24 hour a day intense pain in my hands was gone and it has stayed that way! It was a miracle. Dr Qureshi is patient driven not scalpel driven. He wants to look at all possibilities for health improvement before suggesting surgery. He is thorough with wanting current MRI and other testing. Yes! I would recommend Dr Qureshi as your spinal orthopaedic surgeon.

With a philosophy of performing only what is necessary Dr. Qureshi performed a less extensive procedure than originally expected, an L3-L5 decompression. While my prognosis and procedure could be considered less significant than other spinal issues (spinal stenosis: L3-L5 decompression), because there is a degenerative component I embarked on this journey with the mindset that I may have to have another procedure in the future. Since my procedure in November 2022 I have had a very smooth and successful recovery, and would highly recommend Dr. Qureshi and his team to anyone, including myself.

I honestly cannot share enough positive things about Dr. Qureshi. What a humble man and human. My first appointment with him for a consultation he was very thorough. I’m a visual learner so him actually showing me with a model of the spine exactly what was going on I’m my back was helpful. Along with showing me what would be done to correct the problem. The surgery went as planned, after a seven hour surgery, There is light at the end of the tunnel! Tomorrow will be one month post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Qureshi for any needs concerning the back/spine.

Dr. Abid Qureshi performed my second cervical spine surgery, discectomy with fusion on C6, C7, and T1 vertebrae. (I previously had discectomy and fusion on C5 and C6.) I was extremely nervous leading up to the surgery for many, many reasons. However, Dr. Qureshi has such an amazing bedside manner and kind way of interacting with his patients he was able to help ease my mind. I especially appreciate the way he explains everything, whether it be in reviewing imaging or speaking about procedures and treatment in general. He answers questions before I even think of what to ask using terminology that is easy for me to understand. Dr. Qureshi is a true professional, and should I need further spine treatment, he is definitely my first choice.

Had scoliosis, horrible pain unable to really enjoy traveling any more. Had the surgery a few months a go, what a difference it had made. I am no longer in pain ,able to resume my travels. I was scared to have the surgery to start, as I had so many bad stories about back surgery. But I must admit I feel great. It was the best decision I've ever made.

I had L3 to S1 depression, L4 to S1 TLIF in November 2022. Surgery was performed by Dr Qureshi (Dr Q). He definitely empowered me to take charge of my back / spine health by offering simple, specific steps to improve mobility and relieve aches. I’m on the path to 100% because of his suggestions.

I had double fusion (L6-L5-S1) done almost 5 months ago by Dr. Qureshi. This followed a long process that included variety of treatments, PT, shots and everything possible to try and resolve significant pain in both legs for a couple of years. My situation deteriorated over last summer to a point I had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning from significant legs pain. This surgery was a game changer — the day after surgery (still in hospital recovering), the pain in my legs vanished. The recovery was straight forward, and I am back to playing tennis (although still at 60-70%). Dr. Qureshi took the right steps to fully understand my issues and come up with the right solution. When I went to a 2nd opinion that proposed an alternative treatment, we discussed the pros and cons of the alternative and concluded to continue with the proposed solution. Almost 5 months later, I am pain free, have not taken a pill for months, playing tennis and back to almost all my activities. Continuing with PT for flexibility and core-strengthening, but otherwise, back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Qureshi. His approach, knowledge and execution are superb and I couldn’t be more happy.

Dr. Qureshi's knowledge and his way of explaining are top notch. I have a lumbar fusion from many years ago and now have a problem at the next level. From the outset, Dr. Qureshi explained the options clearly, the pros and cons and helped me decide the optimal course of action. When it comes to surgery, he will be the one I turn to.

I met Dr. Qureshi two and half years ago for my excruciating shoulder and neck pain. He looked at my MRI and gave me a few suggestions. He also arranged for me to see Dr. Narloch for an epidural injection. Two weeks later I had the injection. While my pain was not completely eliminated it was significantly reduced and I was able to resume my daily routine slowly. Three weeks ago, I went back to see Dr. Qureshi for my chronic back and leg pain that’s getting worse. Again, he arranged for me to see Dr. Narlock for injections and we discussed other issues that needed to be addressed. I had the injections a few days ago. I am cautiously optimistic since I’m already feeling less pain. I regard Dr. Qureshi to be a sincere, honest and caring doctor. I appreciate his open approach to collaboration between doctors rather than passing his patient to another doctor without help or support. I’ve been through that too many times with other physicians. I could not give five stars because of the long waiting times. I waited one hour sitting on my pain. Also, communication regarding appointment reminders and other courtesy calls could be improved. I was there for my appointment not knowing it had been canceled.

I had extensive back damage resulting in disk damage, extensive nerve damage, drop foot in both legs, stenosis, and scoliosis. The first surgeon that I saw declined to do surgery due to the extensive scope of the procedure. He gave me the names of two surgeons and I chose Dr. Qureshi. I found Dr. Qureshi to be a caring thoughtful individual. More importantly I found him to be a very skillful surgeon. The surgery was extensive and lasted for more than 10 hours. Now however, instead of the wheel chair that I was headed for I'm back on the bicycle so thank you Dr. Qureshi.

Dr. Avid Qureshi is a great ortho-neural specialist! He is a great listeners, very kind, knowledgeable and empathetic to my concerns and needs. I have been Dr. Qureshi's patient for over 7 years now. Excellent surgeon, Dr Qureshi was my choice when I needed cervical surgery. I asked my friends and colleagues in the medical field who they would use if they needed Spine surgery and all endorsed Dr Qureshi. Dr. Abid Qureshi is a highly an extremely skilled neurosurgeon and as a result of the surgery he and his team performed on my lumbar spine—I am now completely relieved of the almost constant pain I was suffering in my lower back, hips and down both legs.The pain was so severe I could NOT sleep and pain pills did not help. I could not walk more than a few hundred feet before the pain and numbness set in and I'd have to sit or lay down. Immediately after surgery the pain was gone. My orthopedic surgeon saved my life. He was very methodical to solve the complications of the laminoplasty. The decision to go with the laminectomy saved me from paralysis. I thank him for allowing me to walk again, even with a cane. The infection found was treated by two very strong antibiotics. I have gained full stamina and strength in my extremities. I walk at least 2 to 3 miles a day with the cane. Thank you very much.

I think he has no patience for half measures, meaning if it can't be done right he's not gonna do it. I had a TILF for the L3 L4 and L5 and it was predicted to take about 4 1/2 hours. During our preop appointments, it became pretty apparent to me the extraordinary human that was going to be working on one of the most delicate parts of my body. I am at day 71 and the prediction is that the bones are fused at day 90 and I will start my physical therapy about two weeks after that. A clear, clean, and understandable path towards success with a predictable and reliable outcome, is there anything more that we can ask for? I'm not blowing smoke here. My back was so severely injured I couldn't stand up without having massive shooting pains down both legs, and that pain was gone when I woke up. In about another three months maybe four I'll be trail running through the wilderness free as a bird. Thanks Doc, may you live a long and happy life, I know I will.

Dr Qureshi and his team changed my life - I was suffering through debilitating leg pain due to a severely herniated L4/L5 disc. I was unable to find relief in any position. I could not sit or lay down and had not been able to sleep for several weeks. His team was able to prioritize scheduling of my surgery and I was alleviated of the brutal leg pain immediately following surgery. I am one week post-op now and am feeling great. I am so grateful and cannot thank Dr Qureshi enough. 1 year update- sciatica pain has not returned and I have resumed nearly all physical activity. I still avoid lifting heavy and awkward objects, but besides that I am fully active and regularly mountain bike. I am still not sure if I will backpack this summer as the PTSD is still strong and I never want to have to deal with the pain I endured ever again.

Dr. Qureshi performed a spinal fusion revision (L3,4,5, & S1) back in late summer of 2019. There were some issues with the hospital after the surgery and Dr. Q personally resolved them. In fact he gave me his personal cell # if I needed his assistance for any relevant post surgical issues. He has always showed the utmost respect and is a very caring, kind person. He was cautious at every step from diagnosis through post-op care. To ensure proper healing I waited about 4 or 5 months after surgery to start PT. Just as I started, the pandemic hit. It is only now (May 2021) that my husband (organ transplant) and I are cautiously going out into the world again now that we are fully vaccinated. After viewing my latest x-rays, Dr. Qureshi has approved the restart of my PT. All the stars.

There are no words that can express my gratitude to Dr. Qureshi and his PA Zach. They are a fantastic team. wanted to update now that my sciatica pain is gone.  I ended up having to get a lumbar microdisectomy and Dr. Qureshi helped make the entire experience go smoothly. What started as a nightmare turned into pain relief thanks to Muir Orthopaedic and Dr Abid Qureshi. I had back pain for years and no doctor ever took the time to figure out the cause of the pain. Other doctors and specialists prescribed medication, physical therapy, referrals to chiropractor.... but none actually gave me a diagnosis. When I finally made it to Muir Orthopaedic, the proper tests were run and I finally had a real diagnosis. When it actually came time to have surgery, Dr Qureshi and his team were amazing. Though the recovery was long and painful, Qureshi and his team actually fixed me! For the first time in years, I could walk without excruciating pain. Long story short, I could not recommend Dr Qureshi and Muir Orthopaedic enough.

Dr. Qureshi performed a lamon my neck last year and he is an excellent surgeon at top-flight doctor I highly recommend him. This morning,  Dr. Qureshi successfully performed a bi-lateral epidural procedure on my lower back. Dr. Abid Qureshi performed ACDF surgery on my neck in January 2019. He is an excellent Dr. Always listened to my concerns and explained my surgery to a tee as what to expect.  I am very happy with my outcome as I am pain free fir the first time in a few years.

Dr Qureshi performed a laminectory and fusion at L5-S1 in late Sept.  The outcome is fantastic. After 3 years of limited walking due to nerve pain, and searching for non-surgical options, I am pain free. Quality of life is restored. I can walk as much as desired. Strength has returned. Dr. Qureshi met all my expectations in terms of pre-op discussion and meticulous attention to detail. He was recommended to me by my chiropractor as "the surgeon that the chiropractors go to."

Dr. Qureshi is the best surgeon!!! He's thorough and takes time to explain the procedure he is performing (C5-C7 ACDF) He explained each step, pause and ask if I understood. His demeanor is very calm and soft spoken, which always makes you feel at ease! One of the pre-op nurses mentioned that Dr. Qureshi always calls her by her name and takes time to get to know the nurses. This is my 1st yelp review. After a sudden debilitating turn of events last April, I found myself in a lot of pain (back & leg) with weakness and an inability to walk effectively. It was my fortune to be referred to Dr. Qureshi by my primary physician. After studying my MRI, he recommended fusion surgery, from L4- S1. Needless to say, I was nervous about the prospect of a 7-8 hours surgery. Dr. Qureshi explained the procedure in detail. His knowledge and expertise is amazing, and he took time to answer all of my questions. With a smile, he said about the three level fusion: "This is what I do" and that really put me at ease! My recovery has been smooth, overall. When I did have an issue, he was able to see me immediately in his office to get me back on track. Now that I am 5 months out of surgery, I am extremely grateful to Dr. Qureshi. He is an expert who takes pride in his work and treats his patients with care and empathy. I just want to update my review because it has now been over three months after my husband's surgery and we finally feel he has turned the corner. These were three very difficult months because my husband's recovery was much harder than anticipated. He had a lot of nerve pain in his leg. Throughout his ordeal we had a tremendous amount of support from dr. Qureshi and his staff. His continued encouragement, optimism and availability really made a difference. He promised he would see my husband every two weeks until he was better and he did. I have read many online blogs of people with the same post surgical nerve pain complication where many were lamenting the fact that their surgeon did not want to deal with the fallout but simply referred them to their general practitioner or pain specialist. Not so with dr. Qureshi. He was the one following up and conferring with his colleague the pain specialist at the clinic. In between the visits he would check in with the phone and was always willing to take an extra step, be it order more x rays or MRI or arrange for a pick up of pain medicine prescription at the end of a day. He kept trying different medications and dosages, never giving up. It was so helpful and it gave us strength to know we have not been abandoned. He was open and encouraging of trying alternative medicine, accupuncture, vitamin B etc.     His smile at the last visit when we told him the pain has finally significantly dissipated was full of genuine happiness of a doctor that has become a caring friend.

My husband had severe pain and numbing on his left arm for about a year. On the recommendation of his primary care physician, he saw Dr. Qureshi who diagnosed him with cervical myelopathy. Dr. Qureshi recommended Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion surgery. He explained the surgery in detail including the pros and cons. He made sure that we understood the procedure. My husband had surgery on Jan 23, 2017. The surgery was a success. My husband is now pain free and on his way to a complete recovery. Dr. Qureshi is an excellent surgeon with impeccable bed side manner. I also want to acknowledge his entire staff for their caring attitude and professionalism.

Out of the blue, I was disabled with spondilisthesis in my lower back. After two completely ineffective epidural injections done by another medical practice, I consulted Dr Quereshi on the recommendation of two ICU nurses at John Muir Concord. I was in excruciating pain and was uncertain that I could go on without some sort of relief or hope of relief. Dr Q saw me promptly after my initial call and scheduled the appropriate tests and surgery almost immediately. I have had a miraculous recovery and only the kindest and most supportive and professional care from Dr Q and all his staff. After 3 strict months of restricted movement, I started physical therapy and now after 6 months, I have returned to my normal life, using care and common sense. We are living in an era that mainly inborn unhappy reviewers write reviews. Unfortunately, satisfied people who receive good care remain silent. I can't stay silent. My family and I have received good care from most physicians. However, Dr. Qureshi is well above all. His professionalism, knowledge, expertise, humanity, and his compassion is exemplary. He is one of the superb physicians I have seen. In addition, his office staff and Muir orthopedics are example of dedicated team who had the passion and compassion to take care of patients. Dr. Qureshi is a role model for many physicians. We were fortunate to have him as our physician.

Dr. Qureshi did a lumbar fusion on my back in December 2015. His expertise as a surgeon and his on-going advice throughout my recovery has resulted in a significantly improved spine. Although recovery has been slow (as Dr. Qureshi suggested it would be), I am very pleased with my progress to date. I would highly recommend him to anyone with back issues.

Dr. Qureshi is great.  I had spinal fusion surgery and the outcome was amazing.  I can now walk miles without radiating pain down my legs.  I went to him based on the glowing recommendation of my primary care physician and he lived up to expectations.  He was always patient and answered my questions and I never felt dismissed or rushed.  I would highly recommend him. The practice in general, Muir Orthopedics, is also really good.  Great follow-up, attentive tech's, low wait time.  I've talked to other folks who have had similarly good experiences there.  In my opinion this is the best orthopedics place in the East Bay.

Dr. Qureshi performed some very significant spinal fusion surgery for my significant congenital scoliosis issue that became progressively worse as I aged. The surgeries have left me pain free, with a quality of life (and lack of pain) that I could only dream about. He is a caring individual with a very solid bedside manner - always willing to take the time to answer questions fully and with proper empathy and concern. Before 2006 I had constant lower back pain and took pain medications every day, all day. I couldn't walk, do steps or stairs, or sit for several hours without pain. Traveling in a car or plane was not possible.....just too painful. Dr. Qureshi recommended surgery and without hesitation I said yes. Today, 10 years later, at age 75, I am pain free. After a lifetime of back pain, I consulted with Dr. Qureshi and he suggested I have a laminectomy to relieve my lumbar back pain. He is kind, considerate and takes the time to explain what will be done and what my  expectations should be.  I had surgery four months ago and the outcome is just as he said to expect.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a back problem that has not responded to non surgical treatments.

Dr. Qureshi is a wonderful person and surgeon. I had spondilolesthids and scoliosis, and had multiple epidurals over the last 16 years.  Last year, it got to the point that I could not stand for more than a couple hours.  He operated on June 29, 2015.  He fused L2 through L5 in a 7+ hours operation. There was immediate relief felt that afternoon.  I had been told by others it would take a year to recover, but 8 months later all felt back to normal.  At every office visit, he has explained every step and made sure I understood everything.  Highest recommendation to anyone with orthopaedic problems.  He IS the man.  Also a gracious man with perfect bedside manner.

I have battled various orthopedics problems in the past (since I used to play high school football...knee problems, shoulder, elbow etc) and have dealt with several orthopedic surgeons in the past. But, Dr. Qureshi is by far the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever dealt with. I suffered a fractured vertebrae (L5) and a ruptured disc while working out in the gym. My symptoms were extremely severe and had almost full paralysis in my right leg. Dr. Qureshi performed a L5-S1 laminectomy (or commonly known as spinal fusion surgery) on me back in September 2015. The day after surgery, when I was instructed to get up and walk, my paralysis was completely gone and surgery couldn't have gone any better. Dr Qureshi was absolutely fabulous in his calming bedside manner, knowledge of the field, medical evaluation and advice. Dr. Qureshi is extremely kind and knowledgeable. He is very thorough with his examination and took the time to explain everything to me by showing me the X-ray images and explaining why we needed to move forward with the surgery. Since the surgery, I have been visiting the office to follow-up on my condition and couldn't be any more impressed by Dr. Qureshi's enthusiasm; not to mention the nurses and staff are extremely kind and friendly. It has been a great pleasure to get to know Dr. Qureshi and his staff and I recommend them to everyone with great enthusiasm.

Dr. Qureshi performed surgery on my back on 11/24/2015. I had come to him with chronic back pain, but more pressing was the sciatic nerve pain going down my right leg. He replaced one of my disc, did some other clean up, and did the necessary things to completely relieve the pain going down my leg. He was very attentive and even came in to see me on Thanksgiving. I've been a patient of Dr. Qureshi's since 2009.  In May of 2010, he performed surgery on my back after he exhausted all other options.  He is an excellent Doctor and a brilliant surgeon.  He is personable, articulate and his bedside manner is terrific.  I've had some additional back related issues and have seen him for additional epidurals and I can't speak highly enough about this Doctor.

Dr. Quereshi performed lower back surgery to fuse my C4-C5 vertebrae and address extreme narrowing of the spinal canal that was causing increasing pain and movement restriction.  Surgery was completely successful.  Dr. Quereshi took additional time during the surgery to carefully and meticulously remove bone spurs that were impinging on the spinal lining / dura.  During post-surgery follow-up visits he spent the time required to carefully review the progress of healing and explain clearly what was occurring and what activities were recommended / allowed.  He also prescribed alternative medication to address short-term post-surgery nerve pain that was very effective when the standard (e.g. Norco) was not.  His meticulous attention to detail and excellent surgical skills make him an outstanding doctor in this specialized area.  His bedside manner is professional and somewhat distant at the start but he warms up as you get to know him.

Dr Quereshi is a compassionate and skillful doctor.  I can attest to his great bedside manners as he insisted that I cease smoking my 2 cigs in the evening  before he would agree to perform surgery and although I negotiated hard, his gracious ways of communicating and clear concern for my health won me over. My medical condition is complex, suffice it to say that the good doctor needed to employ logic, critical thinking & practical decision making to arrive at a plan for my surgery due to my spine being compromised in several areas. He also found a potential problem while looking at MRI scans that no other doctor had caught. He put the kabash on my spinal surgery until I was cleared for this issue. Now, how many doctors can you say TODAY will put their potential earnings on hold for the benefit of the patient?  I realize it's a sad commentary on our medical system but hey, that's been my experience on many an occasion. I have a new neck, I'm not pain free, however, I was never promised a neck free of pain but rather; a firmly attached head instead of the bauble head I sported at the time.  I need to do more of my own pacing, PT so not a reflection on surgeons work, I'm just a tough patient. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing ortho surgery, you can at least be sure to have an ethical, honest and skilled doctor in your corner. You will find these qualities with Dr Quereshi AND his staff!

I have been very happy with Dr. Qureshi. I have scoliosis and my L4 and L5 discs are almost completely degenerated. I live in constant pain. He is a magician when it comes to the epidural. It's like instant pain relief. It depends on how stupid I am (AKA: If I start running again), but it usually last 4 months. He's always very patient and explains what's going on and why he thinks we should approach it how we should. Plus, his assistant Becky and his NP, Angela (I really hope I didn't get her name wrong, but I think I did), are wonderful too.

Dr. Qureshi is wonderful!!! I wouldn't trust my back to anyone but him! He is a very warm, caring, and compassionate physician which I think is unusual for a surgeon. He is also very knowledgeable and thorough. I have now had my second lumbar fusion with Dr. Qureshi and doing well. My first fusion 4 1/2 years ago was a complete success and I have no reason but to believe that my second surgery will also be. I am an avid cyclist and was able to climb Mt. Diablo after having been back on bike for 5 months after my first surgery.

Dr, Qureshi is a fantastic surgeon he is focused and thorough.  I was experiencing severe pain from Spinal Stenosis.  At the first visit he put me at ease and recommended a surgical procedure with the caveat that the relief would be immediate and 100%.  He delivered on his promise.

Dr. Qureshi is the most intellligent, kindest human being I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He re-built my spine and gave me my life back (by the grace of God) when I couldn't even sit up.

Dr. Qureshi is amazing.  He is patient, calm and very warm and caring.  I was able to see him within a week after scheduling.  While waiting in the exam room, an orderly came in and ushered me to get my Xray, first.  Came back into the room and Dr. Qureshi and his P.A. came right in.  Told me what they saw was wrong...and then ordered an MRI for additional follow up.   MRI was done within a week and follow up in 2-weeks.  Dr. Qureshi discussed my MRI findings in great detail.  Although they cannot treat what my condition is, offered an epidural injection for pain relief and told me that my "quality of life" was very important right now, and they wanted to help me with it.   Muir Ortho and Dr. Qureshi have been fabulous in the three visits I've had there (Initial meeting, MRI and Follow up).  I really cannot say enough good abou them.

Dr. Qureshi is wonderful!  He has such a warm and caring approach to his patients.  I had a herniated disk and had a spinal fusion in October of 2010.  I feel very confident in Dr. Qureshi'.s knowledge and ability.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to have back surgery.  His staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly.  This is a very caring doctor.

It has now been 3 months since my surgery and I am getting better slowly but surely.
