The 2017 list of Top Doctors in the Bay Area was determined by Castle Connolly Medical, a healthcare research company that aims to guide patients to the best hospitals and physicians in the country. Castle Connolly sifted through more than 930 doctors, who were nominated by their fellow physicians, to compile the list for 2017.
