LINDSAY PARKER PA-C

Lindsay is a physician assistant who works with Dr Christian Heywood in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.  An athlete with a wide variety of experience from roller derby to boxing and SCUBA, Lindsay first encountered a PA when she suffered a severe neck injury.  “The PA guided me through my surgery and recovery, but it wasn’t until years later when my partner was in the hospital that I thought about the profession for myself.  It was then that I realized that all the PAs seemed so happy in their work, and I started to really pay attention to what they were doing and seeing myself in that role.”

Lindsay earned her Master of Science Physician Assistant (MSPA) from California State University, Monterey Bay, Salinas, CA. “I love helping my patients achieve recovery.  My background in education gives me the skills to effectively communicate with patients about their particular circumstances and work collaboratively to find solutions to improve their quality of life.”
