Dr. Tischenko is the best! I’ve been with him for just over 19 years. He’s easy to talk to with his warm and friendly manner. I consider him a friend. He is generous with his time to discuss your questions and concerns, and will give you options instead of surgery being the only answer. I trust his advice. Dr. Tischenko has treated both my wife and I for several years for our orthopedic needs. In my case he diagnosed my knee issues and successfully treated them to the degree that I have been pain free for more than 3 years. He listens well and is excellent at training in rehab exercises. Highly recommended.

Dr George J. Tischenko, has been my doctor since 2008. And he now sees my 91 years old mother. He always takes the time with her, explains the process and show so much empathy. At a time when elderly patients are ignored, he treats her with utmost care and respect. He explains everything so it can be understood. I have and will continue to refer my family and friends to Dr T. He is just a very compassionate doctor and wonderful human being.

Dr Tischenko was able to quickly diagnose, explain treatment options, and ultimately treat a chronic issue I've had with my knee. Using ultrasound to help guide a cortisone injection, he was able to precisely deliver the injection. After a few weeks, I'm happy to say that my knee feels great, the pains gone and I'm hoping to build back muscle with the prescribed PT. I highly recommend Dr Tischenko.

Dr Tischenko is excellent at diagnosing, and treating orthopedic problems. I have seen him for my knee and hip resulting in physical therapy which has helped. Years ago he operated to repair my torn rotator cuff which had excellent results. My wife has also been seeing him for her injured knee. He is always attentive and takes time to give you the best of advice and care.

Dr. Tischenko has taken care of our family now for over 20 years. Whenever we have visited Dr. Tischenko he has always been attentive to our needs. He clearly explains the medical issue we are experiencing and will explain all options to address the issue. We appreciate that he will first go through all non-surgical options if possible and resort to surgical options only when necessary. Dr. Tischenko repaired my shoulder after a snowboarding accident in 2010. I was able to return to all of my activities. After a car accident this summer, he did a thorough exam, ordered an MRI, and connected me with another orthopedist who’s an expert in whiplash-related pain. Dr. T. ‘s bedside manner, concern and care are matched by his superior understanding of injuries and physical therapy options. He’s supporting my desire to avoid surgery, and has been very encouraging that I can continue healing. He exemplifies the best in orthopedic medicine.

I saw Dr. Tischenko for my MRI results of a left knee injury after having a good experience in the ortho urgent care in the same building. I was worried but optimistic - unfortunately the results were not great news. A soccer player’s nightmare, an ACL tear (partial). Even though I only had 1 appointment with Dr. Tischenko, I trusted his opinion and appreciated his caring attitude. He examined my knee for instability and showed me all the MRI images and what they meant. As a fairly young and very active sports enthusiast he could tell I was worried and his demeanor was warm and encouraging. He referred me to a highly recommended PT to try to repair the damage without surgery (fingers crossed) and will follow up with me after a few weeks. I encourage patients to consider this doctor and take notice of the good reviews. It was a really scary diagnosis but overall a very positive experience with this doctor and overall office.

Dr. Tischenko is simply the best. He’s helped me with a number of different Ortho issues and he keeps working with me to find solutions. I recommend him highly!

Dr Tischenko has helped me through knee injuries, shoulder dislocations and issues for years. He is professional and empathetic, explains what he will do to help me and why. He follows up after procedures to track my progress and is available for questions. My only regret is that he was unable to continue his osteoporosis specialty practice. I am, and will remain being, a loyal patient of his.

With Dr Tischenko you’re dealing with not only a great Doctor but a class act individual.

Dr. Tishenko performed meniscus surgery on my right knee several years ago. In addition to trimming my torn meniscus, he cleaned out a lot of pseudo gout that had caused frequent painful inflammation and soreness. It is an understatement to say that he has given me years of additional hiking and cycling at a high level since that surgery. I’ve never had problems with it since. More recently, he helped me with a follow up physical exam following spinal surgery (by another surgeon) that was causing me problems. His exam was more detailed and thorough than the exams by either the other surgeon or the physical therapist I’m seeing, as was his explanation of the problems. I highly recommend Dr. Tishenko.

Dr. Tichenko is very thorough and spent a great deal of time explaining the injury and the proper treatment. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Dr Tchenko by my primary care physician for extreme pain in my knee. He was very professional and explained to me all my options for treatment in an easy to understand manner. I opted for a cortisone shot for immediate relieve and physical therapy afterwards. I called back the following week as I was still in pain and he responded immediately with another appointment. Again he assured me it was a slow process and gave more practical suggestions!!! I am happy to say I feel a lot better now thanks to Dr. Tichenko and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is not only knowledgeable but care for his patients!

I fell, broke my wrist and had to have a plate in it while traveling in Eastern Europe. As soon as I got home I saw Dr. Tischenko for all my follow-up care. He took X-rays and confirm my overseas surgery was well done and has provided excellent follow-up care, helping me get disability and then eventually agreeing to writer letters to support the overseas surgery when my insurer denied my claim saying I could have flown home with a dislocated and broken wrist. He’s also very good at explaining and answering questions th ion, especially when he didn’t do the initial surgery.

My wife and I have been going to see Dr T for years when our needs arise. He has done surgeries on both of us and the outcomes have been excellent. He is our go to orthopedic doctor in his specialty. He always has a very friendly professional demeanor when he greets you in the exam room and listens intently as to the reason for your visit and responds patiently in answering questions about your condition. He really has a genuine care for his patients and is highly regarded and respected by other doctors as well as RNs and hospital personnel. He’s a very likable orthopedic doctor due to his overall demeanor in treating his patients. He truly lives up to the Hippocratic Oath doctrine he took many years ago. Sharon and I thank you, Dr T.

I learned that my hips are in good shape, and by attending sessions with a therapist that Dr. Tischenko prescribed, and by doing the IT Band stretches and strengthening exercises at home, my tendinopathy of my gluteus mediums should improve
