Golden State Orthopedics & Spine (GSOS) of Walnut Creek, California is again participating in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

Each year, “Team GSOS” walks in honor of staff members, friends and family in their battle against breast cancer. This year the team goal is to raise $15,000. GSOS’ staff member Shannon Carlson, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, is also speaking at the event.

Since 1993, 8 million walkers across the country have raised more than $460 million through Making Strides events. GSOS and others’ donations directly help more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors continue to celebrate their birthdays and further the American Cancer Society’s vision of a world where breast cancer never steals another year from anyone’s life.
