ABOUT
Katie Grant
Katie Grant is a Physician Assistant who works with Dr. Paul Mead in our Walnut Creek Redwood and Brentwood offices. She specializes in hip and knee disorders with a focus in arthroplasty and reconstruction, and first assists Dr. Mead on all surgical cases.
Katie was born and raised in the Seattle area, and credits athletics and the outdoors during her upbringing as shaping her career and who she is today. “I was an avid runner, enjoyed downhill skiing in the winters, water-skiing and backpacking in the summers, and had the once in a lifetime experience of summiting Mt Kilimanjaro in 2001. I have had an interest in the musculoskeletal system for most of my life and thus wanted to spend my career helping others preserve their physical fitness, as I strongly believe that a healthy body equals a healthy mind.”
Katie and her husband recently moved to the Bay Area after having lived in New York and Los Angeles. These days she enjoys anything outside, traveling, cooking, watching documentaries, and reading.
