WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (July 15, 2015) — Orthopedic physicians who serve as team doctors for eight East Bay Area high schools will examine student athletes and issue medical clearances in the third annual Pass To Play event on July 25 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine’ (GSOS’) Walnut Creek location at 2625 Shadelands Drive. One that I do frequently here at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine is diagnostic ultrasound. In some situations, it’s even better than MRI for looking at tendon and musculoskeletal injuries. And it’s also real, real helpful for doing injections with ultrasound as guidance so we can see exactly where we are putting a needle to do an injection.
